Snow Storm

Reasons i want a snow storm: there would be no school so i could ski and ride snowmobile with my friends, go shopping in the mall, go tubing down a big hill and not get hurt, and enjoy sitting by my fireplace drinking hot coco with my brothers.

BREAK!!!

I am really looking forward to Christmas Break. I am excited to go skiing with my family. We usually go skiing at a local ski resort. I also am going to go sledding with a bunch of my friends at a couple of hills around town. I am also going to go snowmobiling around my house with a bunch of my family. We are having Christmas at my Grandma's house and all my relatives will be there so I am really excited to be with all of them.

Snowmobiling

Snowmobiling is just around the corner, and i cant wait to ride our sleds! The season is coming and a storm should be coming soon also.

Belated Thanksgiving

Yesterday we celebrated Thanksgiving, our family came home and with the snow that had just fallen we build an igloo. my cousins are gone now i miss them already. i hope they come back soon.

Christmas Tree

Today around Noon my family went to get a Tree, the place we get are tree is a place where you cut your own tree down. we went out in our pick-up found the pefect tree. i cant wait for christmas.

Snow

This morning when i woke up i looked out side and to my surprise our roof and yard were covered in snow. why does it always seem warmer outside when there is snow on the ground?

Already Sunday

I can't believe it is already Sunday. Friday and Saturday went by way too fast. I love weekends but why do they have to go by so fast? On Friday my friend and I babysat till ten. Then she spent the night and on Saturday she left for a while. While she was gone my mom helped me put up some Christmas lights. I also cleaned out some stuff. Later that night she came back over and a few of us went to the movie Madagascar. It was really good. When it was over we come home and had some delicious desert. Now it's already Sunday.

Winter is coming!!!

I am so excited for winter to come. After seeing the snow we had on Tuesday it made me even more anxious. During winter I love skiing with my family and friends and i love snowmobiling. Sometimes we hook a sled on the back of the snowmobile and we go for a ride. It can be scary if a non experienced driver is driving it. I love having snowball fights with my brothers and coming in for hot chocolate when we are done. I am never quite ready for Spring when it comes. I love Winter!

Family

This is a paper I had to do for my English Class.

My younger brother sits at a table in a large black chair doing his homework. He looks at the desk, with his paper that is full of math problems then back at the fire with pride because he just got it rolling with flames. So, back at the desk, sitting quietly, all you can hear is the crackling fire and then my little brother at the desk talking to himself saying, "8X8 is 64." The smell of fire starts to fill the air and the anxious little boy is still sitting at the desk quickly doing his math because he want to go to Nana's. Randomly he yells..."10 more problems .....6 more problems....only 3 more.....I am done!"

Goodbyes

Today my cousins had to leave. This is always hard for me, hopefully i don't run out of Goodbyes. why are they so hard to say? Maybe because we never want any one to leave our side.

Fall Super

On Friday the 7th i went to my elementary school for The Fall Super. This is a fundraiser at Hollandale Christian School, it is every year. The food is amazing and all the work put into it is crazy. I like to support my old school and wish i still went there well that's all for now.

Halloween

After school Grant and Faith came over and we cleaned for a while, then we decided to cook some cookies. After Grant left we started and they were looking kind of weird. they were supposed to be flat because they were called lace cookies but they still looked weird. In the first ones in the oven we forgot the tinfoil. In the end they all ended up turning out good. Then Megan and Hannah came over and we had supper and started a movie. We decided we would go to the haunted house. As the time got closer i got even more nervous because I hate being scared. When we got there we went in and I closed my eyes right away, I only opened them once the whole time and when I did I screamed. I was relieved when we got out. After that we went home and watched Mr. Bean and laughed a lot. When it was over everyone went home and Faith and I went to bed.

Farming

We finished combining beans Yesterday. There is always a feeling of enery that comes when you get done. So on to corn it is, but we have a little brake for now.

LEFSE

The saying is you don't miss something till you don't have it! That is so true! On Wednesday my dog, Lefse , got hit by a car. It was a very crazy day. that Morning after i went to school a lady came knocking on our door, my mom just thought is was probably my neighbor or someone. when she answered the door there was a lady crying and told mom that she had hit our dog. my mom and dad walked out there and didn't think Lefse would make it, so my dad and mom helped haul Lefse in to the garage they loader her up on a blanket and placed her in the van and headed off to the vet. And the lady headed off to work. when my parents got to the vet they had to carry Lefse in on a mat because she couldn't walk. we got to visit Lefse every day except today BC they were closed. they had to amputate her left arm Friday and now she is three legged dog i am so excited for tomorrow because she comes home!!!!

This Weekend i went up to the cities to a conference called Revolve! It was amazing i had a blast. We took two cars and and 16 girls.There were 6 bands and and many speakers. it is Coming again next year i hope to go!!

Weekend

This weekend my friend Faith came over because her parents were out of town. On Thursday we did homework and then we went and babysat. Babysitting was kind of hard because one is epileptic so he acts like a one year old in a three year old body. The other is lactose intolerant and the youngest is about one. Then on Friday we went to school and came home and did a lot of errands. We went to HyVee twice and two different gas stations. After that we got ready for a bonfire for small group. At first only a few people were there then more people came and we played ghost in the graveyard. We watched Sidney White and went to bed. On Saturday we got an old car from my grandparents garage. It was my dads car when he was younger. We used the tractor to pull it over and washed it. It is a Cadillac. On Sunday we went to church and I was in a skit. Then we went home and ate lunch and washed the boat. After that we went to my youth group and Faith left. Why do weekends always seem to go so fast?

Combining Beans

Today my dad , lynden and i went out to one of our many bean feilds and combined. I love the feeling to a new start or begining to something new. We had alot of fun. The best time to combine i think is at night because the weather and the stars. i love being a farm girl

WHAT WAS THAT????

Garrett mom and i had just gotten home from my dance class. every thing was going normal. i was in the kitchen mom was doing laundry in the basement and Garrett was stalling in the garage. than there was a loud noise in the garage i just assumed that Garrett had knocked something over (i only assumed that for a fraction of a second), because my brother came bursting into the kitchen screaming and shacking , which made me scared and skiterish. We ran into the back hallway and meet mom. She told garrett and i to calm down, while she went into the garage to investigate where the noise came from. So while mom was in the garage Garrett and i got courious so we went into thae garage to help mom. to be continued soon.....

Harvest

The time is coming and i am ready. We are all prepared and i am anxious. We wait and prepare. Okay let me explain i am a farm girl and my family farms corn and beans. We are very busy during harvest and my Friends always tease me about my family disappearing during harvest,but i dont mind. i Enjoy being a farm girl.

Freezing Corn

It's that time of year again, for Football games , school, sweat shirts and the changing of leaves. For my family ,since we live on a farm it is also the time for freezing corn. My dad raises corn for a canning company so every year my family picks 20 dozen ears of corn and we complete the freezing process in my dad's shop. This is a family tradition and we all partake in it. I enjoy this and look forward to it every year.
